  • The lithium battery cabinet LOXK1100 VDMA is designed for the safe storage and charging of lithium-ion batteries used in devices such as e-bikes, scooters, power tools, scanners, drones and communication devices
  • The cabinet creates a controlled environment that minimises the risks associated with lithium-ion batteries, such as overheating, thermal reactions, fire and explosions
  • With its compact design, the integrated socket and the optional aerosol extinguishing system (at extra cost), the LOXK1100 offers a complete solution for the safe storage and charging of lithium-ion batteries in professional environments such as workshops, warehouses and industrial facilities
  • The LOXK1100 cabinet is certified according to VDMA 24994, a recognised German standard for fire-protected storage and charging solutions for lithium-ion batteries
  • Fire detection: The cabinet features a dual detection system that combines smoke detection and temperature monitoring to detect early signs of battery failure
  • Through the combination of both detection methods, the system can distinguish between harmless environmental influences and actual fire hazards
  • If smoke and an unusual temperature rise are detected at the same time, a serious battery incident is detected
  • Alarm and notifications: If a potential hazard is detected, the cabinet alerts nearby personnel via an integrated audiovisual alarm system
  • The notification system includes a high-intensity siren, a flashing optical indicator and an RGB status LED
  • The cabinet uses two alarm levels to provide an early warning while reducing false alarms due to environmental influences
  • A pre-alarm is triggered if either smoke or elevated temperatures (>60 °C) are detected inside the cabinet
  • This early warning immediately activates safety precautions and simultaneously notifies the personnel
  • In the event of a pre-alarm, the system carries out the following measures: - Battery charging is interrupted - The ventilation system is switched off - A pulsating siren is activated - The RGB status LED changes to warning status A full alarm is triggered if smoke and an unusual temperature rise are detected at the same time, indicating a confirmed battery incident

  • Safety construction: The LOXK1100 cabinet consists of fireproof materials designed to contain battery incidents
  • Two height adjustable, fireproof shelves divide the cabinet into three levels
  • Each shelf carries up to 70 kg and serves as a fire barrier to prevent vertical fire spread between the levels
  • The cabinet construction consists of materials of fire protection class A1 and complies with recognised fire protection standards
  • Safety features: The cabinet is equipped with active ventilation to keep the heat generation of the batteries within safe limits during the charging process
  • A mains connection for an external exhaust air system is available to dissipate excess heat and overpressure

  • If the door remains open, the system signals this via the status LED and automatically stops the charging process after 60 seconds

  • The aerosol disperses in all compartments of the cabinet, providing an additional level of safety in addition to detection, alerting and fire containment
